A message dated April 29, 2000, was read stating the Senate has                
passed CSHB 159(FIN) am with the following amendment and it is                 
transmitted for consideration:                                                 
                                                                               
SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 159(RLS) am S                             
"An Act permitting certain employees in state correctional                    
facilities or employed in the Department of Corrections to convert             
their credited service under the public employees' retirement
